Ronald Anthony “Ronnie” Bird, 43 years of age of Weatherly, died Saturday, May 10, 2014 at home.
Born in Hazleton, Ronnie is survived by his mother, Rose Ann Bird-Deeb, and father Charles L. Bird and his companion Sue White all of Weatherly;
Ronnie is also survived by his brother, Charlie A. Bird and his wife Amy of Weatherly, Nieces, Kassandra, and Jacklyn Blew; nephew, Jacob Blew; great niece, Hannah Fisher; maternal grandmother, Rose Marie Deeb;
Ronnie was a 1989 Weatherly High School graduate, and graduate of the Carbon County Area Vocational Technical School class of 1989. He was an ASE Certified Automotive Technician skilled in engines and transmissions having worked for Warner’s Garage of Weatherly. A member of Our Lady of Lourdes R.C.C. of Weatherly, Ronnie enjoyed riding and building motorcycles. He was Sgt at Arms of the Flying Ace’s motorcycle club of Weatherly, and member of the Reading Motor Cycle Club. An avid hunter, he belonged to the Big Buck Lodge, and Brushy Hallow Hunting Club. Never one to rest, Ronnie enjoyed building Hot Rods and motorcycles and hanging out with his dogs, Rocket and Radar.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his wife, Jo-Anne E. Gasper, who died on April 17, 2013; and by his niece, Shayla Bird on 7-29-2005.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Sat., May 17, 2014 at 1 o’clock P.M. from Our Lady of Lourdes R.C.C. 318 Plane Street Weatherly, Pa. 18255, Rev. Floyd Caesar to officiate.
Friends shall be received in church from 11:30 A.M. until time of services.
Interment, St. Nicholas R.C.C. Cemetery, Weatherly.
