Mr. Rodney F. Werley, age 73, of Warminster, Pa., died Saturday, October 16, 2009, at Doylestown Hospital, surrounded by his family. A devoted husband, father, and pop pop, participating in his children and grand childrens activities through out their lives.
Rodney, will be remembered by his family and friends as an honest, kind, and generous man who loved all people, loved life, and enjoyed talking about the good old days, sometimes over a glass of boilo.

Born in Coaldale, he was the son of the late Ralph and Sophia (Silkunas) Werley.
A 1953 Tamaqua High School graduate, Rodney served in the U.S. Navy aboard the U.S.S. Saipan, and U.S.S. Intrepid from 1957 until his honorable discharge in 1962.
Rodney, was a member of the East End Fire Co., and American Legion both of Tamaqua, and Coaldale V.F.W.
He was the loving husband of Marie (Balazovich) Werley for 44 years;
Two Daughters,
Karen M. (Werley) Chickanosky wife of Dave of Shelby Twp., Mich.
Jennifer A. Werley of Warminster, Pa.;
One Son,
Mark F. Werley and his wife Carrie of Greenwich, N.J.;
Two grandchildren, Daniel J. Palmer, and Finola E. Werley;
Many cousins, sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
Arrangements are being handled by E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa..
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM Saturday, October 24, 2009, at SS. Peter & Paul R.C.C. 307 Pine Street Tamaqua, Pa. 18252.
Mass of Chrisitian Burial will be at SS Peter & Paul Roman Catholic Church at 11 o'clock AM Sat., October 24, 2009, Rev. William Linkchorst officiating.
Interment with Military Honors will be at Sky View Memorial Park in Tamaqua, Pa.
