Robert H. Zehner, 73 years of age of Pine Hill Road, of New Ringgold, Pennsylvania passed away on Monday, November 19, 2018, at home while in the care of his family.Survived by his wife of fifty years, Marie (Shucavage) Zehner; sons, Shane R. Zehner and his wife Jenipher of Melissa, TX, Kyle E. Zehner and his wife Jennifer of Slatington, daughter, Laurie Miller wife of Michael of Tamaqua, sister, Mary Fritz wife of Larry of New Ringgold, grand children, Stephanie, Brandon, Amanda, Hunter, Logan, Bryn; great grand children, Weston and Willow. Born Saturday, July 28, 1945 in Palmerton, the son of the late Herman, and Mary (Benderawicz) Zehner.A 1963 Tamaqua High School graduate, Bob served honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam war. Returning home he earned a certification in carpentry and worked as a carpenter, retiring from Wilmer R. Schultz of Emmaus.A member of Zion Stone Church of West Penn Twp., Bob was a social member of the West Penn Fire Company. An avid outdoorsman, he liked to hunt, fish and camp. Bob was a youth baseball coach in West Penn.Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Robert S.
