Robert R Rusnock, Sr., age 73, of Holly St., Hazleton, died Sunday, September 7, 2014, at his home.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Georgia (Kokinda) Rusnock
Robert served in the U.S. Navy during the Bay of Pigs crisis.
He had worked as a machinist for Herman-Schwabe of Hazleton.
Robert was a 1958 Hazleton High School graduate.
Born in Hazleton, he was the son of the late Andrew Rusnock and the late Frances (Verba) Rusnock.
He is also survived by his
Son,
Robert Rusnock and his wife Beth of Jericho, VT;
Sister,
Margaret Chismar of Hazleton;
Brother,
Edward Rusnock of Hazleton;
Two Grandchildren,
Lindsey and Erin:
Nieces and nephews also survive him.
Preceded in death by his brothers, Joseph and Andrew.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 211 First Street , Weatherly, PA where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Thursday, September 11, 2014.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at SS. Cyril & Methodius Parish at the church of St Joseph 604 N. Laurel St., Hazleton, PA 18201 at 10:00 AM Friday,September 12, 2014, Rev. Michael Piccola to officiate. Call in church from 9:00 to 9:45 AM Friday.
Interment with Military Honors will be at St Nicholas RCCC., Weatherly.
