Robert D. Lore

Robert D. Lore, husband, father, and grandfather, age 79, of East Ridge Street, Coaldale, died Saturday, July 26, 2014 at home surrounded by family.

Survived by his wife of fifty-nine years, Patricia (Wagner) Lore;

Daughters:
Cherie (Lore) Hadesty of Barnesville,
Barbara (Lore) Weisbeck wife of Charley of, Madison , AL;

Son;
Gene A. Lore and his wife Connie , New Ringgold;

Sister:
Margaret (Lore) Kravetz wife of Robert, Palmerton;

Seven Grand Children
Six Great-Grand Children.

Born in Tamaqua the son of the late Robert H., and Hattie A. (Simmons) Lore.

A Coaldale High School graduate, Robert served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He was a mechanic in the Textile Industry and then worked as a security guard for local firms.

Robert was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He maintained membership in the West Penn Archery Club, Tamaqua Rifle & Pistol Club, and Hill Top Sportsman Club.

Robert was preceded in death by his daughter, Denise (Lore) O'Brien on August 4, 2003.

Arrangements are entrusted to the E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa.

A Memorial Service will be at E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home & Cremation Services at 7:00 PM, Tuesday, July 29, 2014.

Friends shall be received from 6:00 P.M. until time of services at the funeral home.

Cremation to take place at the E. Franklin Griffiths Crematory, Tamaqua, Pennsylvania.
