Robert F. "Lefty" Graaf, 91 years of age of West Main Street, Weatherly, Pennsylvania passed away on Wednesday, January 2, 2019, at home in the loving care of his family. Survived by; daughter, Elizabeth A. Parker of Weatherly with whom he resided; brothers, Marvin Graaf and his wife Charlene of Hazleton, John Graaf of Stockton, sisters, Roseanna Coxe of Weatherly, Phyllis Martienssen of Weatherly, grandson Robert W. Bryan and his wife Katherine; great grandchild Thea Rose Bryan; many nieces and nephews Born Sunday, August 21, 1927 in Weatherly, Pennsylvania son of the late John and Irene (Knepper) Graaf. Lefty was also predeceased by his wife of fifty years, Mary (Hill) Graaf; sisters, Laura Richie, Helen Yothers, Christine Zimitsky; brothers, Wallace, Raymond, and Jack Graaf. Lefty attended Weatherly Schools and was a member of Zion's Lutheran Church of Weatherly, Lefty retired from Bethlehem Steel and was the care taker of Union Cemetery in Weatherly for eighteen years. Lefty served honorably in the United States Army during WWII. He was a member of the White Haven American Legion and a longtime volunteer of Deborah Heart & Lung Hospital. Many will recall Lefty's rides thru the community with his faithful dog Tiki by his side. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Philip J.
