Robert W. "Inky" Snyder, Sr.

Robert W. "Inky" Snyder, Sr., of Springhouse Road Lehighton, Pennsylvania passed away on Sunday, April 8, 2018, at home at the age of 80.
Survived by; his wife of fifty-nine years, Naarah V.V. (Kern) Snyder; sons, Robert W. Snyder, Jr. and his wife Debra of Saylorsburg, Rodney W. Snyder and his wife Caroline of Albrightsville; sisters, Thelma White and Dolores Ockenhouse and her husband Lamont of Lehighton; grand children, Aaron, Shannon, and Melissa; 7 great grand children.
Inky, retired from Teamsters Local 158 having worked construction. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Summit Hill, and was an avid outdoorman and talented carpenter.
Born Friday, December 31,1937 in Mauch Chunk the son of the late LeRoy, and Myrtle (Miller) Snyder. He was also predeceased by daughter; Debra Ann Snyder; sisters, baby Snyder, Rhoda Snyder, Irene Stack; brothers, LeRoy and Claude Snyder.
Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to the Robert S. Nester Funeral Home & Cremation services, Inc. of 2066 West Penn Pike New Ringgold, Pennsylvania 17960. (570) 386-5884
A Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM in Thursday April 12, 2018 from the funeral home, Rev. Marjorie Keitter to officiate. Friends may call on the morning of services at the funeral home from 9:30 A.M. until time of services.
Interment will be in Sky View Memorial Park Tamaqua, Pennsylvania.
