Robert D Cummings, age 76, of Park Ave., Quakertown, PA, formerly of St. Augustine, FL, died Tuesday, May 16, 2017, at St. Luke's Hospital, Bethlehem.
He served our country during the Vietnam War in the U.S. Navy.
He retired from his car restoration business in 1996. Previously he had been a Senior Electronics Engineer during the 1960's through the early 1980's.
He graduated in 1958 from New Hope high School and attended Penn State University the following 2 years.
Robert had a passion for antique and classic cars.
Born in Bethlehem, PA on June 10, 1940, he was the son of the late Charles Earle Cummings and the late Margaret Elizabeth (McCauley) Cummings.
He is survived by his
Daughters,
Tammy Denise Cummings of Philadelphia;
Tracy Dawn Cummings Christiansan of Doylestown;
Tiffany Davis Cummings of Doylestown;
Son,
Robert D Cummings II of New Hope;
Sister,
Mary Beth Cummings Lungren;
Three Grandchildren,
Odin, Oliver and Ryder.
