Mr. Richard L Valenti, age 78, of Tamaqua, Pa., died Tuesday, March 16, 2010, at his residence in Tamaqua.
Richard was Catholic by faith and a jeweler by trade.
Born in Pittsfield, MA, he was the son of the late Joseph Valenti and the late Anita (Mercadante) Valenti.
He is survived by his

Brooklyn Smay of Walnutport
Three Sons,
Richard "Duke" Valenti of Lehighton;
Kevin and Scott Valenti both of Bethlehem
One Sister,
Mabel Mazelli of Pittsfield, MA
Nine grandchildren
Three great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his brother, Gene Valenti; sisters, Mary Marston and Josephine Culpo
