Richard P. Orsulak 72 years of age, of Summit Hill, passed away on Monday July 26, 2021 at the Hershey Medical Center, Hershey Pennsylvania.
Born in Palmerton the son of the late Joseph P., and Ruth Irene (Barrett) Orsulak.
Richard is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Arlene A. (Gorka) Orsulak; sons, Richie of Summit Hill, Christopher Orsulak and his wife Denise of Berwyn, Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Michael, and Evelyn Violet Orsulak; brother, LTC retired AF Joseph P. Orsulak and his wife Kathryn of Bossier City LA. Numerous cousins, nieces and nephews also survive Richard.
A 1967 graduate of Panther Valley High School, Richard earned his BS & MS in Organizational Management at Misericordia University in Dallas, Pennsylvania.
Richard served honorably in the United States Army from 1967 to 1969. as a battalion computer operator for an honest John Missile Battalion in Germany during the Vietnam War.
Upon his discharge Richard was hired by Silberline Mfg. Company, Inc. of Lansford, Pennsylvania. His Silberline career spanned 43.5 years. Richard served in many capacities, Tech Service Technician, Assistant & Quality Control Supervisor, Director of QA and Director of Innovation Projects, Technical Transfer Lead with Yasida based in Caofun, Shandong Province China.
Richard enjoyed reading, and gardening. He took great pleasure in being a devoted grandpa. He will be remembered and missed by all who knew him
