Regina F. (Krapf) Evans, age 89, of South Lehigh Street Tamaqua, died Thursday, February 16, 2012, at St. Lukes Miners Memorial Medical Ctr. in Coaldale.
Presbyterian by faith, Regina was a 1940 Tamaqua High School graduate. She retired from the former Brockton Textile, and was a Past President of the Coaldale Legion Aux.
Regina, served as an Elder, and Deacon of the former First Presbyterian Church of Tamaqua.
Born in Tamaqua, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Catherine (Scheidegger) Krapf.
She is survived by her

Bonita L.(Leibenguth) Tolentino of Long Branch, N.J.;
Two sons,
Will Rodgers and his wife his wife Rowena of Coaldale;
John F. Leibenguth and his wife Bernardita of Tamaqua;
Three Brothers,
Donald Krapf of Tamaqua,
Paul Krapf of Allentown, George Krapf of Baltimore, MD.;
Fifteen grandchildren,
Fourteen great-grandchildren,
Twenty Two great-great grandchildren;
Nieces and nephews;
Preceded in death by her first husband, Lester Rodgers; second husband, Foster John Leibenguth; third husband, William E. Evans; brothers, Calvin, Ellwood, Albert,and Robert; sisters, Mrs. Nellie Stramara, Mrs. Naomi Barron, Mrs. Catherine Dudeck, Mrs. Fern Tonkin, Mrs. Claire Hollenbach, and Mrs. Louise Light.
Arrangements are being handled by E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa., where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, February 21, 2012.
Funeral service will be at E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc. at 11 o'clock AM Wednesday, February 22, 2012.
Interment will be at Sky View Memorial Park in Tamaqua.
