Mr. Raymond H. Reed, age 84, of 223 Valley Street Brockton, Pa., died Sunday, October 21, 2007, in his home, surrounded by his family.
Ray was a Blythe Twp High School graduate. He served in the United States Army during WWII, in Normandy, and Central Europe, recieving the Good Conduct Medal Meritoriius Unit Award, European Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with Four Bronze Stars, World War II Victory Medal.
Upon returning home Ray worked driving Coal Truck for the former Tony Russek Trucking of Middleport, Pa., and retired in 1984 from the Lehigh Valley Dairy of Schuylkill Haven, Pa. as a Milk Receiver.
Ray was a Lifetime member of the Brockton Fire Company, and a member of the Middleport American Legion Post 144.
Born in Middleport, PA., he was the son of the late Charles Reed, Sr. and Elsie (Smith) Reed.
Survived by his wife of 53 years, Mrs. Theresa (Milot) Reed;

Mrs. Elsie Mae (Reed) Bennsinger of Allentown, Pa.
Mrs. Fern (Reed) Steiger of Allentown
Two grandchildren , Amy and Scott Versailles
Preceded in death by Brothers, Marlin and Charles, Jr. Reed; Sister, Mrs. Doris Lechleitner.
Arrangements are being handled by E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa., where the family will receive friends from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM Wednesday, October 24, 2007.

Interment with Military Honors, Sky-View Memorial Park, 108 Lafayette Ave., Tamaqua, PA.
