Rachel M. (Graziano) Setzer, 87 years of age, of West Main Street Weatherly, entered into everlasting life and eternal peace on Good Friday, March 25th at Weatherwood Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Weatherly, Pennsylvania.
She was the wife of Michael (Mike) Setzer for 55 years before his death in 2008. She was also predeceased by her son, Michael A. Setzer who passed in 2010, her two sisters Mrs. Annette Kost and Mrs. Florence Edwards, and her brother Anthony (Tony) Graziano.
Born in Eckley, she was the eldest daughter of Anthony and Anna (Rudewick) Graziano. Living in Highland until her marriage in 1953, she relocated to her beloved town of Weatherly where she lived the rest of her life.
Rachel was employed for many years at the former Tung-Sol, later known as Wagner Electric, where she was a “monitor”.
She loved the simple things in life: her family and friends, picking blueberries, reading, flowers, picking fruit in Lancaster County with her daughter, spending time with her grandson Corey, driving her little car around town and sitting on the swing reminiscing with her neighbor Connie.
Rachel will be greatly missed by her daughter Sandy, wife of Gary Benedick of Jim Thorpe, her daughter-in-law Joyce and grandson Corey of Drums, her nieces and nephews and her many friends.
A devout Roman Catholic, she was a member of Our Lady Of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, Weatherly, and also a member of the Weatherly Friendship Club.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home & Cremation Services of 211 First Street Weatherly, Pennsylvania. (570) 427-4231.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday April 1, 2016 at 11 o'clock A.M. from Our Lady of Lourdes R.C. Church, 318 Plane Street Weatherly, Pennsylvania, Rev. Floyd Caesar to officiate. Call in church from 10:30-11:00 AM.
Interment Union Cemetery, Weatherly, Pennsylvania.
