Phyllis L. Middlecamp

Phyllis L. Middlecamp, a life long resident of New Ringgold and Tamaqua passed away on Monday, October 29, 2018 while living as a guest of Hometown Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Hometown at the age of 90.Born Tuesday, June 26, 1928 in West Penn, Township the daughter of the late Oscar, and Mildred (Shellhammer) Oswald. She was also predeceased by her husband, Calvin Middlecamp; sister, Mrs. Jean Balliet; brothers, Richard, John, and Lester Oswald; and long time partner Diamond Merkel.Surviving are; son, Steve C. Middlecamp and his wife, Ann of Hobe Sound, FL; grand daughter, Amy Middlecamp and her wife Amy Buda of Coatsville.A member of Zion Stone Church of West Penn Township, Phyllis was a member of the Avenue's of Tamaqua. She was very social and enjoyed doing crafts. Phyllis worked for the former J.E. Morgan Knitting Mills of Tamaqua.Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Robert S.
