Philip J. Jadush , age 85, formerly of Freeland, and Sugar Loaf, died Thursday, July 10, 2014, at Weatherwood Nursing & Rehabilitation Ctr. in Weatherly.
Born in Highland, Luzerne County the son of the late Simon, and Anna (Kanyak) Jadush.
A Freeland High School graduate, Philip served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He worked for Sharp's Bakery until their closing and retired from Garland Industries of Freeland. A member of Mt Grove Lutheran Parish, and the Freeland V.F.W. Post #5010.
As a young man he played saxophone in the St. John's Band in Freeland. Philip enjoyed farming.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Monday, July 14, 2014 at Mt. Grove Lutheran Parish 1551 Rock Glen road Bloomsburg, Pa. 17815.
Funeral service will be at Mt. Grove Lutheran Parish at 11:00 AM, Monday, July 14, 2014, Rev. Jennifer Kopacz to officiate.
Interment with Military Honors will be at Mountain Grove Cemetery, Bloomsburg, PA.
