Philip L Harris, age 54, of James St., McAdoo, died Sunday, January 22, 2017, at his home.

He is survived by his companion of many years, Tammy (Spohr) Handley.

Philip was Protestant by faith.

He was an Elvis Presley enthusiast. He also enjoyed car models and camping.

Philip had worked for Eagle Buckram Co., Hazleton.

Born in Pottsville, he was the son of the late Nicholas J. Harris and the late Violet (Morgan) Harris.

He is also survived by his brother, Nicholas Harris of Wilkes-Barre; sisters, Brenda Krynock wife of John of Summit Hill; Gloria Neikum wife of Dave of Hazleton; Betty Thomas wife of Chris of Lansford; Dolly Hoy of Pottsville; Verna Dunbar wife of Dennis of Lehighton; Faith Ann Shafer of Hazleton, Joyce Champion of Florida; nieces and nephews and especially his great-nephew, Connor, who shared his enthusiasm for Elvis.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Edward Harris.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa., where the family will receive friends from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM, Thursday, January 26, 2017.

Funeral service will be at E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home & Cremation Services at 11:00 AM, Thursday, January 26, 2017, Pastor Marjorie Keiter to officiate.

Interment will be at Sky View Memorial Park, Tamaqua.
