Petrina “Patsy” Poko, 85 of 174 Fisher Ave, Coaldale, Pa
died December 1, 2008 at her home. She was the wife of the late John J. Poko who died December 4, 1988.
Born in Coaldale, Pa she was the daughter of the late Elias "Alex" & Mary (Prokopchak) Patochek.
Petrina was a member of St. Mary’s Russian Orthodox Church of Coaldale, where she was a member of the ladies aid. She attended Coaldale High School and was an avid Dallas Cowboys Fan.
Surviving are her son John R. Poko and his wife Mary of Summit Hill.
Two Grandsons Chris Poko of Coaldale & John C. Poko of Summit Hill and a Great Granddaughter Vanessa of Coaldale.
A sister Olga Dzurenko of New York.
She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Michael, Walter and her twin brother Peter.
Calling Hours: Thursday (December 4, 2008) from 9-11 am from St. Mary’s Russian Orthodox Church, Coaldale, Pa.
Funeral Service: Thursday (December 4, 2008) at 11am with the Rev. Daniel C. Mathewson officiating.
Interment: Parish Cemetery, Summit Hill, Pa.
