Pearl Arlene Pfeiffer
July 25, 1918 — January 31, 2018
Pearl A. Pfeiffer, of Downingtown, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 31, 2018, at Chester Valley Rehabilitation Center in Malvern, Pennsylvania at the age of 99 years, 6 months & 6 days.
Surviving are her sister, Gertrude Lutzick of Manville, NJ. and many nieces and nephews.
Born in Weatherly, Pennsylvania on July 25, 1918 the daughter of the late John P. and Grace W. (O'Neill) Pfeiffer she was also predeceased by sister Carol Krollman and brothers, John and Peter Pfeiffer.
Presbyterian by faith, Pearl was a 1936 graduate of Weatherly High School. Courageously, she served during WWII in the Women's Army Corp from 1943 to 1946 rising to the rank of Staff Sgt., being discharged honorably with many commendations.
Pearl was a hair stylist in Philadelphia working at Pileggi Salon from 1946 thru 1991. An avid Phillies fan, Pearl collected dolls and traveled extensively throughout the USA and abroad.

A funeral service will be held at 12 o'clock PM on Tuesday February 6, 2018 from the Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home & Cremation Services located at 211 First Street Weatherly, Pennsylvania 18255. Friends may call from 11:00 AM until time of services.
Interment with Military Honors will be in Union Cemetery Weatherly, Pennsylvania.
