Pearl D. Lash

Mrs. Pearl D. (Wilkinson) Lash, age 66, of Second Street Weatherly, Pa., died Friday, December 3, 2010, at Hazleton General Hospital in Hazleton.

A 1962 Weatherly High School graduate, Pearl was a member of Salem U.C.C. of Weatherly.

Pearl, was an accomplished seamstress. She loved to cook, crochet, and play bingo.

Born in Sandy Valley, she was the daughter of the late Bill and Lucy (Fulk) Wilkinson.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Gene R. Lash, Sr.;

One Daughter,
Kim (Lash) Miller, wife of Thomas of Weatherly;

One Son,
Gene R. Lash, Jr., and his wife Jammie of Weatherly;

One Brother,
William Wilkinson, and his wife Judie of Weatherly;

Three grandchildren, Alyssa Miller, and Timothy, and Jason Lash.

Arrangements are being handled by Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home, 211 First Street, Weatherly, Pa., Philip J. Jeffries F.D./Sup., where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday, December 6, 2010 and from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 7, 2010.

Funeral service will be at Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home, Inc. at 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 7, 2010, Rev. Fredericka Beauchard officiating.

Interment will be at Union Cemetery of Weatherly.
