Paula S. Bobal

Paula S. (Maggio) Bobal, mother, and grandmother, age 73, of East Main Street Weatherly, died Tuesday, September 24, 2013, at Weatherwood Nursing & Rehabilitaion Ctr. in Weatherly, surrounded by her family.

Widow of Frederick James Bobal who died in 2011.

Cathoic by faith, Paula worked for Whitewater Challengers from 1995 thru 2010. While most people would see work as a burden Paula enjoyed the comradery and socialization with the quests and workers. Doing crossword puzzles, and spending time with her family is what Paula enjoyed, along with the companionship of her dogs Skippy, and Tiara.

Born in Hazleton, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Pauline (Brown) Maggio.

She is survived by her;

Daughter,
Nicole (Bobal) Mehlig wife of Ken of Weatherly, with whom she resided;

Son,
Frederick Bobal and his wife Kathy of Beaver Meadows;

Sisters,
Joyce (Maggio) Kwitkoski and her husband Stan of Lehighton,
Rose (Maggio) Johnson and her husband George of Weatherly,
Marie (Maggio) Moser and her husband Dave of Hazleton;

Brother,
Richard Maggio and his wife Mel of Hazel, Twp.;

Five grandchildren, Ashley Bobal, Kenny Mehlig and his wife De-Anna; Jonathan Bobal and his wife Ashley, Jessica Bobal, Frederick Bobal;
Five great-grandchildren, Stasia, Charlie, Dakota, Kelsey, and Kymber;

Preceded in death by her sister, Carol (Maggio) Craigle.

Arrangements are being handled by Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 211 First Street Weatherly, Pa., where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM Friday, September 27, 2013.

Funeral service will be at Philip J. Jeffreis Funeral Home at 7:30 PM Friday, September 27, 2013, Rev. Floyd Caesar to officiate.

Private Interment will be at Union Cemetery of Weatherly.
