Mr. Paul Schickram, age 86, of Weatherly, Pa., died Sunday, February 14, 2010, at Hazleton General Hospital in Hazleton, Pa.
A Weatherly High School graduate, Paul had served in the U.S. Navy during WWII in the South Pacific.
He retired from the Weatherly Foundry, and was a member of the Weatherly Legion, and V.F.W.. He was a charter member of the Barron Acres Hunting Club of White Haven.
Born in Weatherly, he was the son of the late Paul and Ruby (Taft) Schickram.
He was preceded in death on March 13, 2009, by his wife of 65 years Helen G. (Searfoss) Schickram, a sister Mrs. Minna (Schickram) Sullivan is also deceased.
Paul is survived by nephews and nieces.
Arrangements are being handled by Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home, 211 First Street, Weatherly, Pa., Philip J. Jeffries F.D./Sup.
Memorial Service will be from the Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Friday, February 19, 2010, Rev. Dawn Richie officiating.
Interment at Union Cemetery of Weatherly, Pa.
