Mr. Paul E. Nunemacher, age 75, of Lizard Creek Road Andreas, Pa., died Sunday, May 23, 2010, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Salisbury Twp.
Paul was a 15 year, United States Army Veteran having served during two wars, Korean, and Vietnam.
Retiring from the military, Paul worked for Chrysler Corporation until 1985 in their Newark Delaware facility.
He was a member of the West Penn Rod & Gun Club, Andreas Sporting Club, Ontelaunee Gun Club, Andreas Fire Company, Citizens Fire Co. of Tamaqua, New Ringgold Fire Company, Lehighton American Legion, Lifetime member of the West Penn V.F.W., and Lifetime member of the History Channel Club, and N.R.A.
Paul was Lutheran by faith.
Born in Tamaqua, he was the son of the late George and Gertrude (Lauchnor) Nunemacher.
He is survived by his

Mrs. Dorothy Poorman of Livermoore, Calif.,
Mrs. Betty Bablo of Tamaqua,
Mrs. Lois Reed wife of Ronald of Mississippi,
Mrs. Marion Fritz wife of Ronald of White Bear Sect. of Summit Hill,
Miss Joyce Nunemacher of Andreas;
Five Brothers,
Charles Nunemacher of Coaldale, Mr. Kenneth Nunemacher and his wife Marie of Tamaqua,
Mr. Edward Nunemacher and his wife Mary Jane of Lansford,
Mr. Robert Nunemacher and his wife Alice of Andreas; Mr. George Nunemacher and his wife Jean
Forty-two nieces, and nephews.
Preceded in death by brothers, Russel & Raymond Nunemacher.
Arrangements are being handled by Robert S. Nester Funeral Home, Inc., 2066 West Penn Pike, Rte. #309 (Snyders Village) New Ringgold, Pa., where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, May 26, 2010.
Funeral service will be at Robert S. Nester Funeral Home, Inc. at 10:00 AM Thursday, May 27, 2010 Pastor Jennifer Oaks officiating.
Interment with Military Honors will be at Sky-View Memorial Park in Tamaqua.
