Patricia A. Pogwist

Patricia A. (Heller) Pogwist 71 yrs. of age, wife, mother and nana died Wed. October 31, 2012 upon arrival at St. Luke’s Miners Memorial Medical Center in Coaldale.

Survived by her husband of 49 years, Michael P. Pogwist of Lafayette Street Tamaqua.

Patricia was a member of SS. Peter & Paul R.C.C. of Tamaqua, and had worked in the textile industry.

Born in Pottsville, she was the daughter of the late Roy H., and Mary J. (Stancavage) Heller.

She is also survived by her,

Daughter, Lisa A. (Pogwist) wife of Robert Filloy of Tamaqua;

Son, Michael Pogwist of Hazleton;

Brothers, Bernard J. Heller of Mary-D, Michael Heller and his wife Joanne of Reading;

Sister, Mrs. Doris Slifko of New Cumberland;

Grandchildren, Zachary, Nathan, Ali Rose, and Alex;

Preceded in death by a brother, John J. Heller; daughter-in-law, Cari (Corneliussen) Pogwist.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday November 5, 2012 at 11 o’clock A.M. from SS. Peter & Paul R.C.C., 307 Pine Street Tamaqua, Rev. William Linkchorst to officiate.

Friends may call from 10:00 A.M. until time of service in church.

Interment, Sky-View Memorial Park, Tamaqua.
