Orville J. Wehr, husband, father, and grandfather, age 85, of Cold Spring Road, Andreas, died Tuesday, January 29, 2013, at St. Luke's Hospital, Allentown Campus.
Survived by his wife of 62 years, Gladys E. (Miller) Wehr.
Orville was a member of Ben Salem U.C.C. of Lehighton, where he served on consistory, and as a Deacon. He was A lifetime member of Mahoning Valley Fire Company.
Orville was a self employed owner-operator truck driver from 1950 to 1985 and also farmed. He continued farming well into his retirement.
Born in West Penn Twp., he was the son of the late Charles and Luella (Breiner) Wehr.
He is also survived by his children;

Cynthia A. (Wehr) Smith wife of David of Lehighton,
Viv A. Wehr of Leesburg, Va.;
Three Sons,
Ronald J. Wehr and his wife Maggie of Tamaqua,
Terry A. Wehr and his wife Cathy of Tamaqua,
Orville C. Wehr and his companion Kathy of Tamaqua;
Brother, Berlyn Wehr of Downers Grove, Il.;
Ten grandchildren;
Three great grandchildren;
Preceded in death by his daughter, Patricia Wehr in 1972; sisters, Mrs. Barbara A. Miller, Mrs. Evelyn Clarke.
Arrangements are being handled by Robert S. Nester Funeral Home, Inc., 2066 West Penn Pike, New Ringgold, Pa.
Friends may call Friday evening February 1, 2013 from 6 to 8:00 P.M. at the Robert S. Nester F.H., Inc. 2066 West Penn Pike New Ringgold, Pa.
Funeral Services will be held Sat. February 2, 2013 at 11 o'clock A.M. from Ben Salem U.C.C., 1965 Church Hill Road, Lehighton, Pa. 17960.
A calling hour will be held on Sat. morning in church from 9:30 A.M. until time of worship.
