Olive E. Frey

Mrs. Olive E. (Fritz) Frey, age 88, Formerly of Mahoning Township, died Saturday, June 5, 2010, at Mahoning Valley Nursing Home in Lehighton, having been a resident for the past eighteen months.

Olive, was a member of St. Peter's Union Church of Mantzville, and a Lehighton High School graduate.

A Past Matron of the Order of Eastern Star Chapter #203 Lehighton, she was a founding member of the Mahoning Valley Fire Co. Ladies Aux.

Born in Mahoning Township, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Mary (Zehner) Fritz.

She is survived by her

One Daughter,
Mrs. Patricia J. (Frey) Geiger wife of Victor of Lehighton;

One Sister,
Mrs. Helen (Fritz) Beers of Lehighton;

Daughter-in-law, Mrs. Marilyn Frey wife of Olives late son Howard W., who died in 2008;

Eleven grandchildren
Twenty Five great-grandchildren
Three great-great grandchildren;

Preceded in death by her husband, Nevin Charles Frey, who died Sept. 11, 1994; sister, Mrs. M. Josephine Rudelitsch; grandson, Andrew Knappenberger, who died in 2006.

Arrangements are being handled by Robert S. Nester Funeral Home, Inc., 2066 West Penn Pike, New Ringgold, Pa.,

The family will receive friends from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM Friday, June 11, 2010, at St. Peter's Union church 184 St. Peter's Church Road (Mantzville) Tamaqua, Pa. 18252.

Eastern Star Services to precede morning Funeral Service

Funeral service will be at St. Peter's Church , Mantzville at 11 o'clock AM Friday, June 11, 2010, Rev. Rodney Wells officiating.

Interment will be at St. Peter's Church Cemetery.
