Norma (DalCin) Costello, 88 years of age, formerly of Tamaqua, died Thursday, April 3, 2014, at Weatherwood Nursing & Rehabilitaion Center in Weatherly.
She was the Widow of the late John H. "Jack" Costello, who died on October 25, 1988.
Norma was a graduate of Tamaqua High School. She was an active member of St. Jerome R.C.C. of Tamaqua, where she ran the Friday Night Bingo for many years and was a member of St Jerome Church St. Vincent DePaul Society. She also cared for the church after weekly services. Norma, adored her family and so enjoyed the successes of her nieces and nephews. She was a wonderful cook, canning vegtables from the garden she tended next to her home on Dutch Hill. Norma was a member of the former Tamaqua B.P.W.
Norma retired from Acme Markets in Tamaqua having worked for over forty years as manager of the meat and delicatessen departments.
Born in Tamaqua, she was the daughter of the late Giovanni and Elena (Scotto) DalCin.

Many nieces, nephews and their families.

Sister, Ann Ritsick;
Brother, John DalCin.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, April 11, 2014, at 10 o'clock AM, from St. Jerome R.C.C., 266 West Broad Street, Tamaqua, PA 18252
Friends may call in church from 9:00 AM until time of services.
Interment in the parish cemetery.
