"Nora Ann Ehrig Kales, 72, of Lawrenceville died suddenly on Saturday, August 28 at the Princeton Medical Center.
She was born in East Stroudsburg, PA to the late Mildred Evans Ehrig Crane and Robert Ehrig, and had lived in Mercer County for the past 51 years. She grew up in Tamaqua, PA, and was a member of the Tamaqua High School class 1956, after which she attended Mary Washington College and graduated from Rider College.
Nora was known for the lovely smocked children’s clothing she made. She was also a dedicated volunteer at NAMI Mercer. She was a loving mother and great friend.
Predeceased by her siblings Fay Ehrig and Dr., Philip L. Ehrig, she is survived by her four daughters, Jennifer Kales Daviduk of Brookline, MA; Susan Kales Lawliss of Lincoln Park, NJ; Sarah Kales Lee of Cranston, RI; and Emily Kales Young of Westborough, MA; their husbands, and 5 grandchildren.
A private memorial service and interment of her ashes will be held in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Tamaqua, PA. Memorial contributions may be made to NAMI-Mercer, 3371 Brunswick Pike, Suite 124, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648."
