Nicholas Michael Smith, 37 years of age of East Elm Street Tamaqua, Pennsylvania passed away on Friday, March 25, 2016, at home while in the loving care of his family.
Born Wednesday, December 6, 1978 in Coaldale, Pennsylvania he is the son of Helene A. (Lutz) Marx and her husband Andrew of Tamaqua, and Robert Smith and his wife Darlene of Barnesville.
In addition to his parents, Nick is survived by his son, Robert H. Smith; daughter, Laura C. Smith; sister, Danielle Smith; niece Courtney DeAngelo. aunts, uncles and cousins also survive Nicholas, all of Tamaqua.
A graduate of Tamaqua Area High School, Nick had worked for K.M.E. of Nesquehoning as an electrician. He was a member of St. John XXIII R.C.C. of Tamaqua.
Nick was an ardent Philadelphia Eagles Fan.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 o'clock A.M. on Tuesday March 29, 2016 from St. John XXIII R.C.C. located at 266 West Broad Street Tamaqua, Pennsylvania 18252.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, March 28, 2016, from the funeral home, and on Tuesday morning March 29, 2016 from 8:30 AM to 9:15 AM also from the funeral home.
Interment will be in St. Jerome R.C.C. Cemetery, Tamaqua Pennsylvania.
