Natalie Jean (Testen) Tracy, wife, mother, and grandmother, 50 years of age, of Coventry Road in Orwigsburg, passed away on Sunday, November 18, 2012. Natalie died in the comfort of her home where she was cared for by her husband of 22 years, John T. Tracy, and surrounded by her family.
A 1980 Shenandoah High School graduate, Natalie was the first girl to make and play on the Shenandoah Valley boys’ junior high school basketball team.
Natalie worked for K-Mart for twenty years, where she made and continued to keep many great friendships.
A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Natalie’s passion was her home and family. She was always cooking in the kitchen. Natalie loved providing a caring, loving and beautiful environment for her family. Her gardens became an extension of her home and she loved working and maintaining them. She enjoyed capturing photos of birds at one of her many feeders.
Natalie supported her girls in all of life’s events. She has left a lasting impression of her strength and courage to all of those who were fortunate enough to know her.
She was a member of St. Ambrose R.C.C. of Schuylkill Haven.
Born in Pottsville, she was the daughter of the late George and the late Eleanor (Pellegrino) Testen;
She is also survived by her two daughters,Erin L. (Tracy) Schiefer, who resides with her husband Russel and children in York, Pa, and Kayla M. Tracy at home;
One sister, Elaine (Testen) Dress of Orwigsburg;
Two brothers, George A. Testen of Barnesville, Anthony F. "Tony" Testen of Shenandoah;
Grandchildren, Aaden John and Avery Faith.
Nieces and nephews also survive her, as well as her in-laws, Mr. & Mrs. John Tracy of Tamaqua and their children.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in her honor on Sat., November 24, 2012 at 10:30 A.M. from St. Ambrose R.C.C. 201 Randel Street, Schuylkill Haven, Pa. 17952, Monsignor, Edward S. Zemanik to officiate.
Friends may call Friday evening Nov. 23, 2012 at the E. Franklin Griffiths F.H., Inc. 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa. 18252 from 6 to 8:00 P.M., and from St. Ambrose R.C.C. on Saturday Nov. 24, 2012 from 9:15 A.M. to 10:15 A.M.
Private interment at the convenience of the family.
