Naomi A. Steigerwalt

Mrs. Naomi A (Fritz) Steigerwalt, age 87, formerly of Mill Rd., Lehighton, died Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at the Mahoning Valley Nursing Home in Lehighton.

She was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church of Mahoning Valley, the Eastern Star, having served as a former P.W.M.

Naomi, had worked in the Textile industry.

Born in Mahoning Township, she was the daughter of the late Ira Fritz and the late Elsa (Sittler) Fritz.

She is survived by her

son, Ronald Steigerwalt and his wife Bernice of Lehighton

brothers, Milo Fritz and his wife Sandy of Hazleton; Neal Fritz of New Ringgold

sister, Minnie Kershner of New Ringgold

grandsons, Reed and his wife Jennifer; Jeff and his wife Stephanie

great-granddaughter, Alison.

Preceded in death by her husband, Ralph R. Steigerwalt on 2-14-2005; brothers, Mark, Tommy, Ira Jr., Paul, Salem, and Charles Fritz; sisters, Gladys Barthel and Blanche Steigerwalt; great-granddaughter, Brooke E. Steigerwalt.

Arrangements are being handled by Robert S. Nester Funeral Home, Inc., 2066 West Penn Pike, New Ringgold, Pa.

The family will receive friends, from St. John's Evangelical Lutheran church of Mahoning Twp, 826 Mahoning Drive West Lehighton, Pa. 18235 on Monday, November 1, 2010 from 9:30-11:00AM.

Funeral Service will be on Monday, November 1, 2010 at 11:00AM at the St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Reverend Dody S. Siegfried officiating.

Interment at St. John's Lutheran Church Cemetery of Mahoning Valley.
