Monica T. Surfield

Monica T. Surfield, beloved wife, adoring mother, doting grandmother, 80 years of age of Rush Township Tamaqua, Pennsylvania passed away unexpectedly on Friday, December 27, 2024, at home.

Born Friday, July 21, 1944 in Hazleton, Pennsylvania the daughter of the late Leo and Margaret (Farkus) Schwick. Monica was also predeceased by; brother, David Schwick.

Surviving are; her husband of 55 years, Edward C. Surfield; daughters, Lisa Ann Surfield, Janet M. Greenberg both of Tamaqua; granddaughter, Jennifer Coley wife of Keith and their children, Kaito, Kalani, and Kaizer.

A graduate of West Hazleton High School, Monica was an active member of St. Richards R.C.C. of Barnesville having sung in the choir.
