Miriam V. Marrin, 72 years of age, of Oneida a long term resident of Lansford, Pennsylvania passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 22, 2021, at home.
Born Friday, January 21, 1949 in Bronx, the daughter of the late Melvin, and Frieda (Bookbinder) Lavietes. Miriam was also predeceased by her brother, Edward J. Lavietes.
Surviving are daughter, Andrea (Marrin) wife of Arthur Youmans with whom she resided; grandchildren, Arthur and his wife Nicole, Nickolas and his wife Samantha, Kaitlyn; great grandchildren; Addison, Levi, Sylvia, Elizabeth, Ella, Harper, Andrew.
Miriam graduated from Nyack, New York High School. She worked as a Bank Teller for many years, and last worked at Ames Dept. Store of Hazleton. A devoted mother, and grandmother, Miriam enjoyed playing bingo, shopping, and volunteered at the Lansford Library.

A Celebration of Miriam's Life will be held on Friday April 30, 2021 at 10 o'clock A.M. from Odd Fellows Cemetery, Tamaqua, Pennsylvania.
