Mrs. Mildred J (Hentz) Whipple, age 86, formerly of Weatherly and a guest of Heritage Hill, died Wednesday, November 23, 2011, at Hazleton General Hospital.
She was a member of Salem U.C.C. of Weatherly.
She had worked as a cafeteria worker for the Weatherly School District.
Mildred was a Weatherly High School graduate.
Born in Weatherly, she was the daughter of the late Howard Hentz and the late Mable (Snyder) Hentz.
She is survived by her
Three Sons,
Robert W Whipple and his wife Barbara of Reading; Todd D Whipple and his wife Susan of Williamstown, NJ; and Barry K Whipple and his wife Robbie of Cumming, Georgia
Two Sisters,
Renee Woodring and Hannah Hentz both of Weatherly
Six grandchildren
Three great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her husband, George L. Whipple on 12-10-1992; sisters, Freda Evancho, Mary Ruth, Susan Danishefsky and Helen Heater; brothers, Percival, Russell, Robert and Walter.
Arrangements are being handled by Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home 211 First St., Weatherly, Pa., Philip J. Jeffries, F.D. Supervisor.
Graveside Memorial Service will be held on Monday, November 28, 2011 at 12 o'clock PM at Union Cemetery of Weatherly, Reverend Fredericka Beauchard officiating.
