Mildred B. Hoffman

Mildred B. (Fairchild) Hoffman, mother, grammy, and sister, 88 years of age of Buck Mountain Road Weatherly, Pennsylvania passed away on Sunday June 19, 2016 at home while in the loving care of her children.
Widow of Willard Hoffman, she is survived by daughters, Mrs. Sharon O’Donnell wife of Ed of Summerville, SC., Mrs. Carol Bellizia of Weatherly; son Lyn Hoffman and his wife Robin of Weatherly; daughter-in-law, Mrs. Juile Michalesko of Ben Salem, Pa.; son-in-law Mr. Ken Sency of Weatherly; sister Mrs. Leafa Carruol of Pennsauken, NJ.; eighteen grandchildren; twenty-four great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren.
A member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church of Weatherly, Mildred worked in various textile mills. She was a talented seamstress and enjoyed crocheting, and needle point. A gardener, Mildred liked to feed the birds and could identify them easily.
Born in the Bridgeport section of White Haven, Pennsylvania the daughter of the late Victor, and Minnie (Schoch) Fairchild. Mildred was also predeceased by a daughter, Eileen F. Sency; son, Wayne Hoffman; sister, Miss Belva Hoffman; brothers, Roger, Clinton, Lester, Gordon, Irvin, Burton, and Donald Fairchild; great granddaughter, Luna Mia Bellizia.
Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to the Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home & Cremation Services of 211 First Street Weatherly, Pennsylvania 18255. (570) 427-4231.
Funeral Services will be held from the funeral home on Thursday June 23, 2016 at 11 o’clock A.M., Rev. Dawn Richie to officiate.
Friends shall be received on Wednesday evening June 22, 206 at the funeral home from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., and on the morning of services from 10:00 A.M. until time of services.
Interment, Union Cemetery of Weatherly, Pennsylvania.
