Mr. Michael W. Vano, age 86, of Coaldale, Pa., died Monday, February 18, 2008, at 128 West Miner Street in Coaldale, Pa.

Michael was a Lansford high School graduate and WWII Army veteran having been awarded four Bronze Stars.

He belonged to the Lansford AMVETS.

Michael was envloved with the Cable industry his entire working life, first assisting Bob Tarlton in the establishment of Cable TV in Lansford, Pa., to his tenure with the Blue Ridge Cablel Co. were he worked as a Lineman, and retired from.

Born in Lansford, Pa., he was the son of the late John and Anna (Gonas) Vano.

He is also survived by his

-Mrs. Carol J. (Vano) Boyle wife of Eugene of Tamaqua, Pa.

One Brother,
Mr. Frank Vano and his wife Ilia of Scranton, Pa.

Preceded in death by brothers, John, andrew, Stephen, and Joseph Vano; Sister Mrs. Anna (Vano) Hydok
