Michael R. Shemonsky, 77, formerly of Weatherly, Pennsylvania, passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2022, at Willow Brook Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Kutztown, Pennsylvania.
Born Monday, May 14, 1945, in Dickson City, the son of the late Frank and Jean (Lubniewski) Shemonsky. Michael was also predeceased by; beloved wife, Sandra L. (Rataczak) Shemonsky on September 5, 2013; sister, Barbara Kman; brother, Jerry Shemonsky.
Surviving are son, Nicholas C. Shemonsky and his wife Ashley of Havertown; grandson, Christopher Shemonsky; sister, Susan Logorda; nieces and nephews.
A graduate of Valley View High School, Michael matriculated at Temple University earning his B.S. in Accounting. Michael worked as a Certified Public Accountant. An avid reader, and sports enthusiast, Michael was a former member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church of Weatherly.
