Michael A. "Mickey Lynch" Lincovich, beloved husband, father, grandfather, 87 years of age, of Spruce Street Tamaqua, passed away on Monday, February 22, 2021, at St. Luke's Hospital Bethlehem.
Born Saturday, February 3, 1934 in Brockton, the son of the late Andrew, and Mary (Belsak) Lincovich. He was also predeceased by; his brother, Joseph Lincovich; grandson, Michael Sedlock.
Surviving are; his wife of 65 years, Carol M. (Vayda) Lincovich; daughters, Michele Bitting and her husband Mark of Mechanicsburg, Susan Thrift of Florida, Nancy Cole; sister, Maryann Delpais wife of Paul; grand children, Kyle, Andrew, Noah, Eli, Jesse ; 4 great grand children.
A Tamaqua High School graduate, Mickey served honorably in the United States Army during the Korean War. He retired from the International Union of Operating Engineers having worked as a heavy equipment operator. Catholic by faith, Mickey belonged to the Tamaqua Legion Post 173, and South Ward Fire Company. Mickey was a founding member of the Tamaqua Rescue Squad, and served as Chief, and Treasurer for over 25 years.
