Michael G. Garra , age 78, of Carbon Street Weatherly, passed away Wednesday, December 3, 2014, at his residence.
A Freeland High School graduate, Michael graduated from Penn State University and worked for the Department of Agriculture having worked for an extended period in Anchorage, Alaska. Michael, served honorably in the United States Army.
Mike traveled extensively throughout the United States and Europe photographing his adventures.
Born in Freeland the son of the late Michael Garra, Sr., and Anna (Perkosky) Garra.
Survived by;
Brothers:
George Garra and his wife Ruth Ann,
Edward Garra both of Weatherly;
Preceded in death by his brother, John Garra.
