Michael Tod Brode, Jr.

Michael T. Brode, age 21, of Summit Hill, died Thursday, April 5, 2012, in Walker Township.

Michael attended Tamaqua Schools, and was a member of The Primitive United Methodist Church of Tamaqua.

Born in Lehighton, he was the son of Michael T. Brode, Sr., and his Finacee Lori Stapinski.

Preceded in death by his mother, Cori Garrett Brode-Matlaga on January 25, 2004.

He is also survived by his,

Maternal grandparents, Judith (Schlosser) and her husband Duane Allen;

Maternal Great Grandmother, Mrs. Beverly (Dunn) Schlosser;

Paternal grandfather, John " Jack" Brode;

Brother, Ryan Hager, all of Tamaqua;

Aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Arrangements are being handled by E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa., where the family will receive friends from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM Wednesday, April 11, 2012.

Funeral service will be at E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc. at 11:00 AM Wednesday, April 11, 2012, Rev. Rodney Hall to officiate.

Interment will be at Sky View Memorial Park in Tamaqua.
