Mel Scott Gerber , 41 of Tamaqua, died on Friday, April 11, 2014 upon arrival at St. Luke's Miners Memorial in Coaldale.
Born Friday, September 29, 1972 in Allentown, he is the son of Nancy E. (Klotz) Gerber of Tamaqua, and the late Melvin O. Gerber, who died on May 14, 2004.
A graduate of Tamaqua Area High School, Mel worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator for Coal Contractors of Hazleton.
