Marybeth A. Thamarus, devoted wife, mother, nana, sister, cousin and friend, 56 years of age of Laurel Street Weatherly, Pennsylvania passed away on Monday, March 7, 2016, upon arrival at Lehigh Valley Hospital Hazleton-Campus from injuries sustained in an auto accident earlier in the evening in Weatherly, Pennsylvania.
Survived by her husband of twenty years, Anthony S. DeAngelo; daughter, Christi R. (Thamarus) Montesrin and her husband Michael of Lansford; son, Edward F. Thamarus of Freeland; brothers, Francis John Bilsak and Thomas L. Bilsak both of Jim Thorpe; sisters, Andrette Haupt her twin of Jim Thopre, Susan Bamford wife of Brian of Nesquehoning, Christine Fisher wife of James of Lattimer; step-daughter Christa (DeAngelo) Priest wife of Parker of St. Augustine, Fl; grandchildren, Tiana, and Kaydence; step grandchildren, Iris, Priscilla, Parker, and Preston; sister & brother-in-law Karen and Joe DeAngelo,; brother-in-law Ralph DeAngelo and his late wife Bernadine; many nieces, and nephews also survive Marybeth.
Born Tuesday, October 20,1959 in Lehighton, Pennsylvania the daughter of the late Francis L., and Christine (Kane)Bilsak. Marybeth was also preceded in death by niece, Angela M. Haupt.
A Jim Thorpe High School graduate, Marybeth had worked at Hershey Foods of Hazleton for many years, and previously worked at I.C.I in Reynolds. and for the former Mid-Weeker newspaper. She loved being a nana to her grandchildren.
Marybeth first and foremost love was spending time with her children and grandchildren. She also was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan as well as a fan of the New York Yankee's. Lastly, she had a love for taking pictures of family and friends.

A Funeral service will be conducted at 7:30 PM on Friday evening March 11, 2016 from the funeral home.
A Gathering of Friends shall occur on Friday evening March 11, 2016 from 5:00 P.M. until time of services at the funeral home.
