Mary Lillian Teresa Conrad

Mrs. Mary Lillian Teresa (Fortin) Conrad, age 85, of Weatherly, Pa., formerly of Vermont and Hendersonville, NC, died Wednesday, November 10, 2010, at Weatherwood Nursing Home in Weatherly.
She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes R.C. Church of Weatherly and the Lion's Club.
Mary enjoyed organizing horse shows, gardening and quilting, where she would rebuild antique quilts.
She provided care to many children in her home.
Born in Deerfield New Hampshire, she was the daughter of the late George and Leona (Forrest) Fortin.
She is survived by her
four daughters, Nancy Ayers wife of Lee of Hendersonville, NC; Diane Hayden-Hixson wife of Steve of Amherst, MA; Lyn Hittle of Raleigh, NC; and Capt. Rebecca Conrad, U.S. Navy, of Seattle, WA
one son, Bruce E. Conrad and his wife Kathleen of Weatherly
eight grandchildren

one great-great-grandchild
Mary was the last of thirteen children.
Preceded in death by her husband in 1998, Robert Leroy Conrad.
Arrangements are being handled by Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home, 211 First Street, Weatherly, Pa., Philip J. Jeffries, F.D. Supervisor.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, November 13, 2010 at 6:30PM at Our Lady of Lourdes R.C.C. 318 Plane St., Weatherly, Pa., Reverend Floyd Caesar officiating.
No calling hours.
