Mary E Rusden, age 94, of Tamaqua, died Thursday, March 14, 2013, at Hometown Nursing & Rehabilitation Ctr.
Born in Tamaqua, she was the daughter of the late George W., and Ethel Mae (McDonough) Rusden.
A 1935 Tamaqua High School graduate, Mary retired from Argo factory in Orwigsburg. A member, of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church of Tamaqua, she was also a member of the Tamaqua Senior Citizens.
Mary is survived by,
Brother,
Donald T. Rusden and his wife Frances of Wilmington, DE;
Many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her brother, Earl E. in 1998; sisters, Mildred Rusden in 1935, Violet Ruth Meiser in 1989 and Dorothy M. Rusden in 2000.
Funeral Arrangements are being handled by E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home 655 E. Broad St., Tamaqua, Pa., where the family will receive friends on Monday, March 18, 2013 from 6-8 PM.
Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at 11 o'clock AM at the E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home.
Interment at Odd Fellows Cemetery, Tamaqua.
