Mrs. Mary (Tepo) Mihalio, age 72, of 519 East Elm Street Tamaqua, Pa., died Thursday, January 10, 2008, at her home in Tamaqua, Pa. She was the wife of the late William "Willy" Mihalio who died in 2003.
Born in Coaldale, PA she was the only child of the late Joseph & Frances (Baddick) Tepo.
Mary worked as a Bell Telephone Operator out of Tamaqua and also for the former Atlas Powder Company. She was a member of St. Jerome's Roman Catholic Church, a 1953 graduate of St. Jerome's High School,
a avid fan of High School Sports following Tamaqua,Marian and Panther Valley and a passionate supporter of the Tamaqua Little League.
She is survived by nieces,nephews and cousins.
Calling Hours: Sunday (1-13-2008) from 6-8pm at the E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home Inc. 655 East Broad Street and again on Monday morning from 8:45 - 9:30am.
Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday (1-14-08) at 10am from St. Jerome's Roman Catholic Church, Tamaqua.
Interment: St. Nicholas Cemetery, Hometown.
Memorials in her name may be made to the Tamaqua Area High School Athletic Dept or the Tamaqua Little league.
