Mary B. Kern

Mary B. Kern, of Stedman Ave. Lehighton, Pennsylvania passed away on Wednesday, July 28, 2021, in the home she loved, in the loving care of her husband of 30 years, David L, Kern having fought a valiant battle against cancer for many years at 64 years of age.

Born Wednesday, April 17, 1957 in Coaldale, Pennsylvania the daughter of the late David, and Susan (Harakel) Hughes. Mary was also predeceased by; brothers, David "Sonny", William, Michael "Mickey" Hughes; niece Mary Ann Hughes; grand great niece, Amanda Nicole Mason.

Surviving in addition to her husband David are; sisters, Suzanne Hughes, Margaret Stahler wife of Robert and Janice Keller wife of Gary; 8 nephews, and 3 nieces.

A 1976 graduate of Panther Valley High School, Mary last worked for Wal-Mart in Hometown, and previously worked at McCrory's in Tamaqua for many years. Catholic by faith, Mary enjoyed Plastic Canvassing, playing games, and the companionship of her precious dogs, Milo, and Shelby.

Mary was loving, and caring to family, and friends. She will be missed by many.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday August 2, 2021 at 12:30 P.M. o'clock P.M. from the funeral home. Friends may call from 11:30 A.M. until time of services.

Interment will be in Sky-View Memorial Park, Tamaqua, Pennsylvania.
