Mary V. "Ginger" Stallone , 81 years of age, of Weatherly, passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2015, at home.
Widow of Joseph N. Stallone who died on March 3, 1998.
A Ben Salem High School graduate, Ginger was a homemaker until assisting her husband in the operation of Stallone's Tavern and Stallone's Country Inn from 1971 to 1987. After assisting at the family business, Ginger worked for Weatherwood, retiring in 1998. Upon retiring, Ginger worked as a C.N.A.
A member of Salem U.C.C. of Weatherly, Ginger belonged to the Red Hat Society, and PrimeTime Sr. Citizens of Weatherly. An Avid Philadelphia sports fans, Ginger enjoyed word search puzzles, and reading.
Born Monday, May 15, 1933 in Bristol, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Vincent DePaul and Marguerite (Wittimer) Lappan.

Jacob J. Stallone II and his wife Beth,
Vincent D. Stallone and his wife Melissa both of Weatherly;
Daughters,
Nancy Lee (Stallone) Kunkel wife of Clyde of Weatherly,
TinaMarie (Stallone) Zink wife of Lee of Weatherly,
Suzanne (Stallone) Machalick of McAdoo;
Sisters,
Patricia (Lappan) Liberty of Levittown, Pa.,
Dorothy Schmidt of Neshaminy, Pa.,
Linda (Lappan) Walker wife of David of Wallkill Falls , NY
Norma (Lappan) Schock wife of Harland of Wallkill Falls , NY;
10 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her son, Joseph N, Stallone II in 1978, brother, John Stephen Lappan; sisters, Mrs. Marguerite Parmer, Mrs. Anita Carlson, and Mrs. Judith McMillian.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. 211 First Street Weatherly, Pennsylvania 18255.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 7 o'clock P.M. on Monday April 27, 2015 from the Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home & Cremation Services located at 211 First Street Weatherly, Pennsylvania 18255, Rev. Donald Stump to officiate.
A Gathering of Friends will take place at the funeral home from 5:30 P.M. until time of services on Monday evening April 27, 2015.
Entombment, Cedar Hill's Cemetery Allentown, Pennsylvania.
