Mary Elizabeth (Curry) Bubel, age 73, of Valley Street Brockton, passed away Thursday, October 9,2014, at Lehigh Valley Hospice 17th & Chew Streets Allentown.
Survived by her;
Husband of fifty-two years Robert J. Bubel;
Son,
Peter J. Bubel and his wife Anita of Reading;
Sister;
Alma E. Lonergan wife of Daniel of Millville, NJ;
Granddaughters,
Nina, and Alyssa Bubel.
Born in Pottsville on September 11, 1941, the daughter of the late Peter and Mary (Urbanavage) Curry.
Mary was a 1959 graduate of Natvity High School. She had worked as Schuylkill Township Secretary for the past seventeen years last working on September 16th. Previously, to her township position, Mary had worked as Office Manager for Brockton Sportswear, and State Manufacturing of New Philadelphia.
A member of Holy Cross R.C.C. of New Philadelphia, Mary enjoyed gardening, traveling, decorating her home and attending all her grand children's activities.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Curry.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Cross R.C.C. 99 Valley Street New Philadelphia, Pa. 17959 at 10 o'clock AM, Tuesday, October 14, 2014, Rev. Ronald J. Minner to officiate.
A Gathering of Friends will be held on Monday evening October 13, 2014 from 6 to 8:00 P.M. from the E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pennsylvania 18252.
No morning calling.
Interment St. Bartholomew's R.C.C. Cemetery, Brockton, Pennsylvania.
