Mrs. Mary C. (Walsh) Dillon, age 89, of 804 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa., died Saturday, March 8, 2008, at St. Lukes Bethlehem in Bethlehem, Pa.
Mary was a 1936 Mahanoy City High School graduate, and a graduate of the McCann's School of business. Upon graduation she worked as a bookkeeper for the City Shirt Factory of Mahanoy City until marrying and moving to Tamaqua, Pa.
Mary was a member of St. Jerome R.C.C. of Tamaqua, were she was active in the St. Vincent Depaul Society, and C.W.E.A. of the church. A member of the Tamaqua Womens Club, and Garden Club.
Born in Mahany City, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Charlotte (Elliott) Walsh.

Miss Eileen Dillon of State College, Pa.
Mrs. Marie (Dillon) McGrath wife of Rich of Boston, Mass.

Mr. Eugene W. Dillon and his wife Lou of Sand Point, Idaho

Preceded in death by her husband Eugene Joseph Dillon on July 31, 1988; brothers William and John Walsh; sisters Miss Alice Walsh, and Mrs. Margaret (Walsh) Sheeler
Arrangements are being handled by E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa., where the family will receive friends from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM Thursday, March 13, 2008.
Mass of Chrisitain Burial will be held at St. Jerome R.C.C. at 11:00 AM Thursday, March 13, 2008, Rev. James Bechtel officiating.
Interment will be at St. Jerome R.C.C. Cemetery in Tamaqua, Pa.
