Mary D.

Mary D. (DeFuso) Gutosky, 77 of Weatherly, Pa. was called home on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at home surrounded by her family.

Born in Hazleton on January 30, 1938, she was the daughter of the late James DeFuso and Edith (Fannicase) DeFuso.
In addition to her parents she is also preceded by her brother James DeFuso, Jr.

Mary was a graduate of Weatherly Area High School and had previously worked for Jay's Women Specialty Shop, Hazleton
and Personal Touch, Weatherly.

Mary was a member of Ss. Peter & Paul Slovak Lutheran Church, Hazleton where she served
as council president for 3 years and was a choir member for many years.

Surviving is her husband of 55 years Joseph J. Gutosky Jr;
daughters, Mary Theresa Gutosky and her companion Jack Gabos,
Weatherly, Patricia Gutosky and her companion Jody Miller ,Weatherly, Susan Prusak, Weatherly and her granddaughter, who was
like a daughter to her, Bonnie Marie Torre and her husband Aristide Torre, White Haven.
Brothers Michael DeFuso and his wife Alice, Weatherly and Dominic DeFuso and his wife Veronica, Slatington;
grandchildren, Andrew, Christian , Salvatore, Samson, Catherine, George Jr. , and a great-grandchild Mikalya Rose along with several nieces and nephews.

A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Weatherly at Noon on Wednesday, March
25, 2015. Interment will follow at the cemetery. A public visitation will be held Tuesday, March 24, 2015 from 6-8pm at the
Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 211 First Street, Weatherly.
