Mrs. Mary F (Prester) Bickelman, age 74, of Weatherly, Pa., died Sunday, November 3, 2013, at Hazleton General Hospital, Hazleton, Pa.
She was the widow of Clair H. Bickelman who passed away 2-13-2007.
Mary had been employed by the Weatherly School District.
She was a former secretary of the Ladies Auxiliary of American Legion Post 360, Weatherly.
She was a member of Salem UCC of Weatherly where she was a member of the Music Committee, taught Sunday School and was a member of the church consistory.
Mary enjoyed sewing and reading.
Born in Lucas, Kansas, she was the daughter of the late Alexander Prester and Lilly (Heinze) Prester.
She is survived by her
Two Sons,
Wes D Bickelman and his wife Ann of Hershey and Craig A Bickelman of Weatherly;
Brothers,
Larry Prester and his wife Pat of Bartlesville, OK; Leon Prester and his wife Helen of Salina, KS; Gary Prester and his wife Carol of Russell, KS; and Terry Prester and his wife Alice Mae of Lyons, KS;
Sister,
Patty, wife of Roger Kaufman of New Braunvels, TX;
Three grandchildren,
Leah, Rachel and Joseph;
Preceded in death by an infant daughter, Cindy Lou; brother, Leroy Prester.
Arrangements are being handled by Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home and Cremation Services 211 First St., Weatherly, Pa.
Funeral Service will be on Thursday, November 7, 2013 at 11 o'clock AM at the Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Pastor Nancy Hardy to officiate.
No Calling Hours.
Interment at Union Cemetery of Weatherly.
